UPDATE

- Edit. Research Project will likely explore the different ways of portraying my ideas. From different styles of art, the compositions, colours, concepts, era it's set in, mediums etc. Lots to work with that also is bound to help the final major project.

*UPDATE*. I've not settled on the idea I want to explore yet. I am not happy with working on this FMP idea for the whole year; I feel like I'd be happier focusing on something else that will perhaps help me develop in the direction I'd rather go into, such as comic books and graphic novels, storyboarding and game design.

I'll create a new page specifically for my other potential ideas. I'll see if any peak my interest.

Initial Idea - Subject to change

Initial Inspiration and Research #1

Li'l Gotham. Researched already in my Children's book module, but I feel like it could inspire and help my future work, so I'm including it in my initial FMP research.

Resistance Du Sanglier. A graphic novel that I, granted, don't quite know what's going on, but it's very expressive and inspiring. I felt like it's a great addition to this blog.

Another look at Kingdom Hearts art style. I'll also look into the island the story includes. It's a very similar island to the one I want my story to have. Mystical, Magical and Mysterious.

Destiny Island. A place that is nowhere, shrouded in mystery. Speculated that it doesn't actually exist; it's not on the map, and they don't know how they got there, why they're there etc.

The idea I want to use is similar. A likewise island, full of mystery and wonder, no where specific, may not even have a name. It's just the place the characters live and always have.
